About Me

My name is Gloriana Garcia. I'm 24 years old, and I live in the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Since middle school I have been passionate about events. This leaded me to work in the event industry since an early age. Wanting to work professionally in such field, I did a Business Administration bachelor's degree with a concentration in Production and Marketing of Special Events. At school I had the opportunity of producing and working various events in and off campus, like national culinary events, musical plays, and the 2010 and 2011 Latin Billboard Music Awards, celebrated in Puerto Rico and Miami respectively.

In June 2011 I graduated with a 3.97 Grade Point Average, and currently I'm studying an online Master in Science in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University. I'm working in the Coliseo of Puerto Rico as an Event Supervisor and Concierge. The Coliseo is biggest arena in the island. Also, I work as a freelancer event planner, talent escort, and as a TV production assistant.

My basic interest is the entertainment business focused in event planning, management and supervising. Additional interests are the fashion and music industry; sports, especially volleyball that I currently play professionally; and networking. With these interests and adding a professional blog to my career, my next goal is to become a recognized event producer and own an event production company.
